You can delete pre-installed apps themes in nokia s40 phones
For doing this you need two softwares
*blueftp 1.70(free app)
*UC Browser
From UC Browser google search for 'download uc browser'.when download menu comes asking you for saving or installing the software, you just save the sofware but remember uc browser which you are saving should not be right protected. After you have saved uc browser>open blueftp and navigate uc browser which you have just saved form internet now rename and change the extension from _jar to .zip and open it you can see many files with .class extension select all and extract into folder in which pre-installed apps or themes are. After extraction close blueftp and go into the folder where you have extracted those files now select all (few system files would not be selected dosent matter) and then delete all during deleting process a new menu will appear stating operation failed and your pre-installed apps or themes would be deleted.
*But remember that folder will become useless after deleting pre-installed apps or theme for sometime i.e, if you copy anything to that folder it would not be vsible so for making that folder usable you need to switch off and switch on your mobile for two three times.

  1. NokiCert makes it possible to install X.509 certificates on Nokia S40 phones. It can install certificates for accessing SSL protected websites as well as for authenticating MIDlet suites to place them in the identified (trusted) third party domain. It uses a Bluetooth connection to the phone to install the certificates. Most S40 phones (assuming they have a certificate database) will work.

NokiCert is written in Java and runs on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

  2. use phoenix to re install the phone software everything will be restored just refurbish it

  3. I think u shall ask in a nokia store as also said by Rakesh Mishra
    or ask a mobile engineer

  4. u can goto ur nearest nokia center for installation of certificates as they are system related

  5. If Your Firmware is corruputed, you may have problems with invalid system certificates so there are 3 easy ways to resolve this problem :

    1.Try Downloading Certificates from nokia support server, ' http://dl.nokia.com/nvsfiles/Entrust.cer ' , ' http://dl.nokia.com/nvsfiles/MFE_CERTIFICATE INSTALLATIONS.ZIP '
    2. Update your firmware
    3. Reflash your firmware and see whether your problem is solved.
