Where's the 2017 Black Dot Thread?

I just can't keep in my excitement and could use some equally-enthused Irish squeals! :-) My RIDSH Bellman mare (eventer/jumper) is confirmed in foal to Banks Fee Daniel! AHH!!! #BlackDotThread#SkippyForDays#FirstTimeOnFrozen
This has been a long awaited breeding and I'm over the moon! Did I miss this year's black dot thread?

I am waiting for my mare to go back into heat to breed! She is going in on Friday to check where she is. Hopefully in a few weeks I will have a little black dot too! Breeding my mare (by Windfall out of an Avignon II mare) to Trakehner stallion Tzigane. First pic is my mare, second is the stallion. Hoping for a great event horse!

My two mares are confirmed in foal to Saketini. First mare Shezagreatgal, an OTTB broodmare (by Albert The Great) who's had four race-bred foals, is nearly 60 days pregnant already. Though she's new to me, I love her pedigree, movement, and type, and I've seen two of her foals and loved the way she stamped them.
Second mare is my former Advanced eventer, now age 19, and I figured she would be difficult to get pregnant. She's had one foal, but that was four years ago. With good a good repro vet, she's now about 30 days along. Had a heartbeat on the 25 day scan, but vet saw some concerning edema and we upped her Regumate to 10cc 2x daily. This will likely be her last foal, so fingers crossed she keeps it! You think you're 'all clear' when that black dot appears, but sometimes it's not that easy.
These are the first two mares Saketini has bred, and I'm very excited to see what he will produce. I never intended to have a stallion, but I have to admit it's pretty convenient to breed your own mares on whatever schedule they need. And best of all, he's been able to turn on and turn off the hormones as required, and it has not interfered with his training or behavior around other horses..he's still the same chill, kind gentleman he's always been when he's not 'on a date.'

First two confirmed pregnancies here and waiting to check a third. My first of the year will be an Emerald out of Ucinda (Lux/Concorde/Ramiro) and the second will be by the Emerald son I'm Special de Muze out of Ballerina K (Baloubet du Rouet/Lancer II/Alme).
Next in line will be a Quabri de l'Isle out of Amy Rose Stamm 2495 (Limbus/Carthago/Joost) and a Balou du Reventon (Cornet's Balou) out of Selina (Mermus R/ Nimmerdor/Uppercut).
Adding a Baloubet du Rouet out of Undercover Spr. (Indoctro/Calvados/Hilton). And a repeat cross of Catoki and Connotation (Lordanos/Calido/Sandro).

After being completely unsatisfied with my horse shopping attempts over the last year or so, I am planning on buying a 2018 foal in utero. My horse will (hopefully) be a reining/ranch/western dressage horse, not a sport horse in the classic sense, but I'll play along. The mare shipped to the stallion last week; hopefully we'll have a black dot to celebrate soon!

    Congrats Montana's Girl!!
Hopefully I will get to add to this thread in a few weeks. My Saddlebred sporthorse mare (http://i496.photobucket.com/albums/r..ps24bf4477.jpg) is being bred to Dreamscape Farm's up-and-coming new star, Delta Force (Diarado x Cassini I). She had a mild uterine infection we had to treat which is why the breeding was delayed, but everything is on track now and we're breeding her next week. Fingers crossed for a black dot in 3.5 weeks!! The mare hasn't had a foal since 2011 and I am DYING for my baby fix. it's been too long!

Fingers crossed for you! She's a nice mare - lots of substance on that one! I wouldn't have guessed Saddlebred if you hadn't told me.

Not a black dot, per se.. but successfully flushed an embryo from my friend's intermediate eventer (Zweibrucker/TB) and transferred to my retired eventer turned broodmare yesterday. Stallion is Buddenbrock, fingers crossed for a position check next week!

I love hearing about pairings to come! So many nice foals on the way - here's hoping for healthy, uneventful foalings for all!
I am in waiting mode. Everything went well with the breeding, mare ovulated 24 hrs after insemination, was given Dex to reduce her inflammatory reaction and oxy every 3 hours post-ov until her cervix closed. Checks showed NO fluid whatsoever, and no edema. She's also on Regumate. Fingers tightly crossed for my black dot next week!!

Two black dots via ET for our superstar BWP approved TB mare (Quick Painter x Top Rank x Val de L'Orn) who did both Performance Hunters and AO jumpers by Diktator v/d Boslandhoeve (Thunder v/d Zuuthoeve x Capital x Lys de Darmen). One may not make it due to positioning, but the other is confirmed.
