The information in the book is quite sparse, but it's enough to give a functional overview of OB/Gyn so that as a med student, I didn't appear totally clueless in front of my residents and attendings that first week of the rotation. It's short enough to breeze through over a weekend.I found it absolutely invaluable for the clinical case scenarios at the end of most chapters, which helped greatly for the oral exam I had at the end of my clerkship.
But, as I said, it's sparse on details, and I needed other resources to get through the rotation as well.
